Welcome to 'The Tax Lady' The Tax Lady was formed in 1996 by Carol Rankin. Carol began with one client in a converted billiards room at the back of her home. As the business grew, Carol took on staff and rented an office in Wellington, but still retained the original office at her home. In December 2007 Carol wanted to ease into retirement so the staff took over the business, allowing Carol to travel overseas while still retaining an interest in the company. We are a small, dedicated team offering accounting services and tax returns for self-employed people, small businesses, trusts and rental properties. As we are a small team we can provide personal, reliable service to you for a competitive fee. We will ensure that your taxes are calculated correctly, so you are only paying the minimum amount of tax, and on the due date.
